Max Drinkwater

The Rev’d Max Drinkwater - Rings in Suffolk

Max is Priest-in-Charge of Haverhill and Withersfield in Suffolk, and rings with the local band. He is also on the committee of the Guild of Clerical Ringers and helps to encourage good relations between bell ringers and church leaders, having a foot in both camps. He co-authored The Voice of the Church, published in 2023 by the Ringing World.

He learned to ring at the age of 11 in Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, before moving to Cambridge to study, where he was master of the Cambridge University Guild.
